The liver is the body’s second largest organ, next to the skin. Coming in at roughly three (3) pounds in weight, it performs a slew of essential functions for the body. It acts as storage for the nutrients which the body needs, and also aids in digestion, metabolism and immunity. The liver also filters out the harmful materials in a person’s bloodstream and helps in food digestion.

Grapefruit.
