Ingredients:

  • 1 medium-sized banana
  • A pinch of cinnamon powder
  • 1 liter of water

Materials:

  • A large stainless steel pot
  • A knife
  • A clean container

Procedure:

  1. Bring your water to a boil using medium heat.
  2. While waiting for it to boil, wash your medium-sized banana carefully under running water.
  3. Chop off the ends of the banana, allowing the peel to remain intact.
  4. When the water is already boiling, place your banana in it.
  5. Allow it to boil for another 10 minutes. Turn of the heat.
  6. Carefully, remove the banana and discard. Place the tea in a clean container.
  7. Add a pinch of cinnamon and stir. Allow the tea to cool.
  8. Stash it in the refrigerator once already cool.

That’s how easy it is to make this sleep-inducing banana and cinnamon tea. An hour before bedtime, all you need to do is heat a cup of it in the microwave and consume. You will find it easier to get to dreamland.

Banana contains potassium and magnesium, both of which are minerals that promote mental and physical relaxation. Also, banana contains tryptophan, an amino acid that helps increase the levels of serotonin in the brain, thus allowing you to enjoy a good night’s sleep. Cinnamon, on the other hand, helps soothe your nerves, making you feel relaxed.
