One way of water therapy is drinking a bellyful of water just after you wake up in the morning. Drinking water that fills your stomach will cleanse the bowel. The Japanese, Chinese, and Indian also practice this. However, drinking too much water may also lead to water intoxication, which can lead to death. Stop drinking after you’ve drank a liter-and-a-half. The first time you do this form of water therapy, the body will react by making multiple movements of its bowel until the body adjusts to the amount of liquid.

People practice water therapy because unlike medicines, it doesn’t have any side effects or at least, it is very harmless.

To get the best results water therapy has to offer, simply drinking a bellyful of water after waking up in the morning is not enough. There are basic protocols expert have recommended such as, not consuming anything for an hour before and after drinking water. The night before you start the water therapy, do not drink beer or any alcoholic beverage.

How water therapy was discovered:

Thirty-two years ago, a political prisoner in Iran discovered water as a potent medicine along with the link between chronic illness and dehydration.

During his sentence, Dr. Fereydoon Batmanghelidj treated the peptic ulcer three thousand fellow prisoners were experiencing using the only medical resource available-water.

After he was his release, Dr. Batmanghelidj focused in studying the negative health effects of dehydration and dehydration itself. Dr. Batmanghelidj studied medicine in St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School of London, and brought healthiness back to individuals by the number of a hundred and thousand.

His success brought him to be invited by numerous world and international conferences where he presented his studies. Dr. Batmanghelidj also published his findings in scientific journals. He also wrote two books containing a compilation of his research for the general public to read namely, “Your Body’s Many Cries for Water” and “How to Deal with Back Pain and Rheumatoid Joint Pain.” There are also audiotapes of his lectures and a video on back pain, all of which the media have reviewed and acclaimed both internationally and nationally.
