Juicing and detox cleanses are all the rage nowadays. Celebrities, but most people fail to realize that not all juice cleanses in the market necessarily lead to weight loss.
weight loss is not the primary goal of a juice cleanse.

There are three goals, actually:

1) Cleansing. It cleans up your system for better absorption of nutrients.

2) Better health: It feeds your body with what it needs to battle diseases.

A good principle to follow is “drink your veggies, eat your fruits.” Vegetables contain nutrients that will boost your body’s immune system, while fruits, although also rich in nutrients, contain fructose or sugar content as well. Mixing a small portion of fruits with the vegetables is ideal to add more flavor to the juice drink, but “it’s really tricky to combine all vegetables and herbs together and still make it delicious without adding fruits that are [too] high in sugar,”.

It’s important to keep in mind that juicing is a quick start, not a quick fix. It requires a lifestyle change, and this includes exercise and a proper diet. And of course, dedication and patience to get the results that you want.
