3 Recipes for Hair Growth

Hair loss, also known as baldness or alopecia, refers to the loss of hair from the head or the body. It is a condition that can be associated with heredity, hormonal changes, medication intake, and some medical conditions. Egg Mixture

Eggs can be used for hair growth. According to Home Remedies For Life, eggs are high protein sources, in addition to minerals like iodine, phosphorus, sulfur, iron, and zinc, which aid to hair growth. As per the publication, the egg white is separated from the egg yolk. Then, a teaspoon of olive oil can and honey is added to the egg white. After that, the mixture is applied all over the hair, leaving it for about 20 minutes. After the given time, the hair is rinsed off with cool water and shampoo is applied to the hair. The recipe can be applied for a least once every two weeks.

Bananas Paste

To prepare, coconut milk is taken from a fresh coconut and is mixed with half a squeeze of lemon and four drops of essential lavender oil. They are mixed thoroughly and the output is applied on the scalp. The oil is left for four to five hours before rinsing.

Aside from the recipes that can be made to prevent hair loss, a person can also set an appointment with her doctor, for proper referral to a dermatologist. In line with the appointment, the person may list personal information like recent life changes and major stresses, list medication intake, and list questions about the hair concern.

Hair loss can also be prevented by avoiding harsh hair treatments like curling irons, hot rollers, permanents, and hot oil treatment; using a wide-toothed comb to prevent pulling out the hair during combing; avoiding rubbing, pulling, and twisting the hair; avoiding tight hairdos like ponytails, braids, and buns; and eating a nutritionally balanced diet.
