Insomnia can happen from time to time as there are times when we stay up late for several days, or feel way too stressed to fall asleep, that we end up staring at the ceiling until dawn comes. Some suffer from sleep apnea, or snoring, that can disrupt their sleep too. These conditions are referred to as sleep disorders and can wreak havoc on our sleep cycles. Fortunately, there are ways in which you can deal with these conditions and one of them is putting plants in your bedroom to help you sleep better. Here are a few plants for you to choose from.

Aloe Vera

One of the best plants that you can add to your bedroom is Aloe Vera. What’s nice about this plant is that it provides plenty of oxygen in your bedroom which you need to fall asleep. This plant produces more oxygen at night which helps you drift off to deep sleep. Aside from this, the gel in the leaves of the aloe plant can also be used for your skin, cuts, burns, and bruises too.

Snake Plant

Another oxygen giving plant that you will want to add to your bedroom is the snake plant. Just like the aloe plant, this one delivers more oxygen while you are sleeping, as well as during the day, which can actually help make the air in your bedroom double in amount for that good quality sleep. If you are having a hard time breathing at night because of sleep apnea, you will feel relief because of the added oxygen coming from this plant.

Aside from this, the flowers are quite pretty to look at too which adds to the overall look of your bedroom.

When it comes to helping you sleep better at night, getting a lavender plant is highly recommended. This plant has been used for ages to relieve a person’s stress and anxiety levels. It is known to reduce one’s heart rate and even create a calm atmosphere in your sanctuary, so you will be able to sleep better at night.
