Water

Another way to cleanse your colon is to drink up to 12 glasses of water on a daily basis. Although this will make you go to the bathroom regularly, this actually helps flush out the toxins that are present in your colon so that it will function better once more. What’s more, drinking plenty of water can help you stay hydrated while improving your digestive system at the same time.

Foods with fiber

You should also add more foods that are high in fiber to your diet to help remove the toxins from the colon. Fiber is the one responsible for keeping your stools at the right texture for better bowel movement. Eating foods with fiber can help remove the toxins that are forming in your stomach so that you will have better digestion. Among the foods that are rich in fiber are artichokes, pears, apples, and broccoli.

Lemon juice

Another way to remove the toxins from your colon is lemon juice. What’s great about lemon juice is that it is high in vitamin C along with other nutrients. To flush the toxins that are forming in your colon, yo will need to squeeze a lemon in a glass, some honey, and sea salt. Finish it off with some lukewarm water then mix. Drink this lemon juice solution first thing in the morning while your stomach is empty of food.

Flaxseed

You should also use flax seed in cleansing your colon because it is rich in omega 3 fatty acids as well as loads of fiber that can flush any toxins that are present in your system. What’s great about flaxseeds is that it can help absorb water while expanding your colon at the same time. Any build up of mucus or toxins will then be removed from your colon when you eat it. Put a tablespoon of ground flaxseed to a glass of water then mix thoroughly. Drink it thirty minutes before you have your breakfast. Do the same thing before going to bed and you will reap the benefits.

Aloe vera

Another remedy that you can use for your colon is aloe vera. We all know that aloe is commonly used in boosting hair growth but it can also be used to cleanse your colon too. It works as a laxative which can help detoxify your colon easily. To use this remedy, you should put the gel harvested from the leaves of the plant then blend until you get some smooth juice. Store it first in the fridge for about three hours then consume it afterwards. Do this several times in a day for a couple of days until you feel better.
