1. Simple and effective deodorant

Use: Baking soda, essential oil

How to do it: Mix ¼ cup of baking soda with 20 drops of your favorite essential oil. Transfer the mixture into a jar. This mixture works well. Apply this after shower. Pat some of the mixture under your pits until it is no longer visible.

2. Blackhead remover

Use: Baking soda, honey

How to do it: Combine two tablespoon of baking soda with one tablespoon of honey until the consistency becomes paste. Put this thick paste to your face and leave it for 15 minutes. Scrub slightly as you rinse it.

3. Foot soak

Use: vinegar, mouthwash, warm water

How to do it: Mix ½ cup of mouthwash with ½ cup of vinegar. Add this mixture to one cup of warm water. Using this mixture, soak your feet for 10 minutes. Scrub your feet, if needed. This process takes away dead skin, leaving your feet soft and smooth.

4. Make your perfume last

Use: petroleum jelly

How to do it: Rub petroleum jelly on your pulse points before you spray your favorite perfume.

5. Eye makeup remover

Use: Filtered water, olive oil

How to do it: Fill a small bottle halfway with filtered water. Put 1/3 parts of olive oil. Soak a cotton ball into the mixture and use it to remove eye makeup. Using this mixture is gentle on the skin and adds moisture on the skin around the eye area.

6. Nail polish remover

Use: vinegar, lemon juice, warm water, cotton balls

How to do it: To remove your nail polish, combine same amount of vinegar and lemon juice in a bowl. Dip few cotton balls in the mixture. Soak your nails in warm water to loosen the nail polish. Apply the vinegar and lemon juice mixture with cotton balls on your nails for 20 seconds to remove the polish.

Use: petroleum jelly, clean socks

How to do it: Before you go to bed, apply petroleum jelly on your feet then wear a pair of clean socks and leave it overnight. This makes your heels soft and smooth.

Use: Nail polish, band-aid

How to do it: Put band-aid over the dried painted nail then paint it over with white polish. The dots on the band-aid will transfer to your nails, making it a nail design. Let it dry then gently remove the band-aid. Do the same with other nails. Voila! Instant nail art!
