Regularly, consume moderate amounts of pistachios, almonds, walnuts, pecans and pine nuts. Protein in nuts also helps ward off imbalance as it assists the liver in regulating the circulating amounts or hormones.

Bananas, Avocados, Spinach and Sweet Potatoes

These fruits and vegetables contain vitamin B6 (pyridoxine). According to health authorities, deficiency in this vitamin is linked to progesterone imbalance in women. It’s also important for men to incorporate vitamin B6-packed foods in their diet for proper sperm production. Other sources of vitamin B6 are dried prunes, melons, peas, asparagus and carrots.

Goji Berries and Maca Root Powder

For thousands of years already, both of them are being used by traditional healers to promote proper balance of hormones within. For instance, goji berries are administered to individuals who are suffering from decreased sexual function due to insufficient production of hormones that regulate it.
