Foods that Help Beat the Summer Heat

When hot summer days strike, staying cool allows you to feel comfortable. Maintaining a normal core body temperature is also important for the health. A sudden change in temperature, such as when staying under the sweltering sun for hours or working out in an enclosed area, can yield unfavorable effects. Some of them include cramps, rashes, nausea and dizziness. Your various internal organs are also at risk for being damaged if your body stays hot for prolonged periods of time.

Both seed types are revered for their ability to cool the body naturally. As a bonus, the rich fiber content of sesame and fenugreek seeds helps promote regular bowel movement and flushes out toxins, giving you a flat tummy which is really ideal for summer.
