Amenorrhea — it’s a fancy medical term used for referring to the absence of menstruation. There are different reasons behind such, ranging from hormonal imbalance to a problem with a part of the reproductive system.

More often, amenorrhea can be due to matters that disrupt the normal levels of hormones in the body, such as stress, depression, malnutrition, being underweight, being overweight and exercising too much. By the way, medical doctors say that amenorrhea can affect anyone from young teenage girls to middle-aged women. And also, it’s something that can be categorized into two different types:

Primary amenorrhea

Secondary amenorrhea 

This is experienced by women who have had menstrual cycles in the past but all of a sudden encounter a cessation of their period.

Consume Tomato Juice

It’s also a good idea for you to regularly drink tomato juice if you are being bugged by amenorrhea. Having antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, tomato juice is actually an age-old remedy for irregular menstruation, including the absence of which. You may also simply include plenty of tomatoes in your everyday diet.
