Home Remedies for Itchy eyes

Every person who will walk on this planet will experience itchy eyes at some point in their lives. For some, it is a recurring problem. When rubbed constantly, it might lead to inflammation and infection.

In the early stages of the itchy eyes, get one of these natural remedies to bring relief to the eyes.

Vegetables Juices
Carrots and spinach juice, and many other raw vegetables’ juice, are effective treatment for the eyes that are itchy. You can have them separately or mixed. Fresh juice drank daily will not only boost your health but will also bring relief to the eyes.

Fenugreek
Another remedy for the itchy eyes is the fenugreek. For seven to eight hours, soak its seeds in water to make a paste.
Use the paste and apply over the eyes. Leave it on the skin for at least 20 minutes. Then rinse with cold water. For maximum efficiency, use the paste two times a day.

Raw Potatoes
Get raw potatoes and cut them into thin slices. Leave the potato slices on the fridge for a few minutes. Use the chilled slices and place them over the eyes for at least 30 minutes.

Aloe Vera
Use honey and aloe vera and mix with elderberry blossom tea. Using this solution, rinse the eyes at least two times a day until the itchiness is gone.

Green Tea
Get two green tea bags and boil them in a cup of distilled water. Let it cool. Twice a day, flush the eyes using the solution until the itchiness subsides.

Water and Salt
A common remedy, mix a cup of water (preferably distilled) with a teaspoon of salt. Let the solution boil until the salt has completely dissolved. Use the solution as a flush for the eyes.

Cold Milk
With a cotton ball, rub cold milk around the eyes. You may soak a cotton ball in milk then use it as a compress for some cooling relief. It is recommended to be done twice a day, once in the morning, and once late at night.

Rosewater
Rinsing of the eyes with rosewater two times a day is a popular relief for itchy eyes. Using it as an eye drop is another method of treating the itchy eyes.

Cold compress with chilled teabags (chamomile) and chilled cucumbers are among the popular treatments for the itchy eyes. These remedies have been proven to bring relief and restore the eyes back to health.
