Apply Strawberry Paste

Grab a fork and mash a few fresh strawberries. Apply the resulting paste on your discolored teeth and allow it to stay there for a few minutes. Rinse off with water.

Gargle with Lemon Juice and Salt

The acidity of lemon juice gives it a mild bleaching effect. Squeeze one small lemon in a glass of water. And one teaspoon of rock salt and stir. Gargle with this solution.

Gargle with Diluted Hydrogen Peroxide

Take advantage of the powerful bleaching properties of hydrogen peroxide to make your teeth sparkle once more. Add a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in a glass of water. Mix and gargle with it. Remember to spit everything out!

Brush with Basil Leaves

Leave a few basil leaves directly under the scorching sun for several hours to dry them. Afterwards, turn the leaves into powder with the help of a mortar and pestle. Brush with the resulting powder.

Peel an orange and rub the inside part of the peel on discolored teeth. In case orange peel is not available, it’s perfectly fine to opt for the peel of other citrus fruits such as lemon and lime.

Add Charcoal to Your Toothpaste

Using a mortar and pestle, turn a small piece of charcoal into fine powder. Sprinkle some of it on your toothpaste and brush away. Charcoal has very tiny crystals that help polish the teeth.

With the help of the above home remedies, it won’t take long before your smile can impress once more. Always remember to brush as soon as you can after eating and drinking, as well as floss on a regular basis to keep discoloration at bay.
