There are some people who avoid shaking hands because they are embarrassed of their sweaty hands while others avoid removing their shoes as much as possible because of their sweaty feet. Although sweating is our body’s way of helping us cool down, too much can become a source of problem for us. There are several factors that can cause sweaty hands and feet such as nervousness, hormonal problems, stress, and others. If you are one of those individuals who have difficulty dealing with their sweaty hands and feet, these home remedies may help you out.

Rosewater

Getting your hands on organic rose water can help you deal with your sweaty hands and feet. You can purchase some in stores these days, or you can prepare your own solution by boiling fresh rose petals in water for 15 minutes. Strain the solution then transfer in an airtight container. Apply this solution on the affected areas by dipping a cotton ball in it and applying on the skin.

Coconut oil

Another home remedy for your sweaty hands and feet is coconut oil. This oil contains lauric acid which is known to remove any bacteria that may be causing body odor. You can rub some of the oil on your hands and feet or rub it on areas that you find sweating profusely. This is best used after you take a bath.

Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar comes with astringent properties that can help make the pores of your skin smaller. Wash your hands and feet with lukewarm water then dip a cotton ball in raw and unfiltered apple cider vinegar. Apply this mixture on your hands and feet. Leave it until the following day where you can take a shower or bath. Apply a small amount of baby powder on your hands and feet to reduce the smell of ACV.

Potato

Another possible remedy to help you deal with your sweaty hands and feet is potato. Slice a potato and rub the slices on the areas of your body that sweats a lot. You can leave the juice on your skin for a while before washing it off.

Chamomile

Chamomile is known for its antibacterial as well as astringent properties making it a useful remedy for your hands and feet. Prepare chamomile tea and drink it regularly. You can also dip a cotton ball in the tea and apply on areas that are sweaty.
