How to Get Rid of Ovarian Cysts

Ovarian cysts are the result of fluid collection within one or both of the ovaries. This is a common occurrence amongst women of all age ranges. Most ovarian cysts tend to be benign and gets resolved in their own but there are some which can cause infertility, pain during sexual contact and or menstrual periods, bloating and more. When these scenarios happen, it is normally recommended to have surgery and get a biopsy, but then again, surgery is not always affordable. There are natural treatments that may help in getting rid of ovarian cysts.

The pain resulting from ovarian cysts may be dissipated by applying a heat pack or hot compress at your lower pelvic area. This reduces inflammation too. Taking a hot shower can also be an alternative to applying a hot compress over the affected area.

Most of the time, diet plays a huge role in people’s overall health. Make it a point to drink heaps of water as this will help eliminate toxins out of your body as well as keep you hydrated. It is recommended for adults to consume about 8-10 glasses of water in a day. Your diet should be fiber-rich and should also consist of whole grains. Stay away from processed foods and foods that are high in fat content. Limit alcohol intake and avoid smoking.

Make it a habit to drink tea as well. Herbal teas can help strengthen the body’s immune system and aid in the elimination of diseases in the body. Chamomile and green tea are both recommended for those with ovarian cysts to help them with the pain as both tea variant have soothing properties which can help the body relax.

4. Herbs.
A lot of known herbs are being used time and again to prevent and correct hormonal imbalances in the body. It detoxifies the liver and helps it filter the toxic substances out of your system. Some examples of medicinal herbs include tribulus and wild yam root which are best for improving the menstrual cycle. Maca root is known for correcting hormonal imbalances and milk thistle leaves are great for improving liver function.
