Try out this natural remedies to remove dark spots:

Buttermilk – The lactic acid in buttermilk is great for removing brown spots. Apply buttermilk directly on the spots and let it rest for a few minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

Lemon Juice – Contains bleaching agent known to lighten dark spots. Apply lemon juice on the affected area and rinse off with cold water. You can also cut a lemon in half and use it as an exfoliant. Rub the half slice of lemon on dark spots on the body during your shower.

Yogurt – Yogurt is a natural moisturizer and brightener. Apply plain yogurt on the affected area and let it sit for 20 minutes or sleep with it on. Rinse off with cold water.

Castor Oil – It has healing agents that can remove age spots. Apply castor oil with a cotton ball twice a day for best results.

Sandalwood – Known for its anti-aging and antiseptic properties. Create an easy dark spot pack with sandalwood powder, glycerin, lemon juice and rose water. Apply this mixture once a day and leave it on until dry. Wash off with lukewarm water.

Aloe Vera – It is known that Aloe Vera can cure multiple skin conditions. It can heal burns and remove dark spots. Gently massage Aloe Vera gel on the target area and leave on for 45 minutes. Rinse off the gel with cold water. Repeat this step twice a day for a month.

Horseradish – Horseradish paste can remove dark spots, age spots and freckles. Create horseradish paste and apply directly to affected area and let it sit for 15 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water.

Sugar Cube – Use sugar as a natural exfoliant. Rub sugar cubes on the skin to remove dead skin cells. Sugar also contains properties known to brighten and improves skin health.

Papaya – Enzymes found in papaya are known to brighten and remove blemishes. Rub fresh grated papaya on dark spots and let it set for 20 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. Repeat this process twice a day.

Red Currants – Add a half cup of crushed red currants to a tablespoon of honey and apply to affected areas. Let it rest for half an hour and rinse off with warm water. Dab some water down lemon juice for an extra boost.

Onion Juice – Onion juice can remove age spots, gently rub onion slices to target area 3 times a day. The onion has a natural bleaching agent that can lighten dark spots.

Rose water – Wash your face with rose water to lessen dark spots. Rose water can also moisturize and clear the blemish on your face.

Water – Drink the recommended six to eight glasses a day to lessen dark spots and freckles. Drinking water removes the toxins in our body and improve skin health.

Honey or Raw Potato Juice – Add raw potato juice to honey and massage it gently to dark spots. This can lessen the dark spots and remove white heads.
