The presence of a kidney stone doesn’t usually cause symptoms until it begins to move from the kidney down to the rest of the urinary tract. If you have already suffered from one, then you have an idea on how really painful it can be!

There are a handful of ways to keep kidney stones from forming. One of the most important and effective of them all is drinking plenty of water, especially the filtered kind.
