Baking soda and bath water

Are you wondering how to get smoother and softer skin? Try adding half a cup of baking soda into your bathtub then soak in it for 20 minutes. You will find that your skin’s condition has improved in just a short time.

Baking soda for blemishes

Combine 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of baking soda until you create a paste. Wash your hands and your face afterwards. Use a towel to pat excess moisture enough to leave your skin damp. Massage the paste on the affected areas then leave it for 1 to 2 minutes. Rinse afterwards to remove the paste using warm water. Wash your face with cool water afterwards.

Baking soda as deodorant

Have you ever had trouble with smelly armpits? Try baking soda. You should mix 3 tablespoons of baking soda with 3 to 5 drops of your choice of essential oil and you are done. You can apply your new deodorant using a kabuki brush or powder puff to get rid of any smell.

Baking soda for large pores

Large pores can be quite visible and may cause discomfort especially when they become clogged with dirt, sweat, and oil just to name a few. Another problem with having large pores is that they can easily breakout in acne and other blemishes. Baking soda can help shrink the size of the pores easily. You will need to mix 1 tablespoon of baking powder with a cup of water until the powder is diluted. Wash your face as you would using your own cleanser. Splash baking soda on your face then pat it dry. Moisturize your face afterwards.

Baking soda as body scrub

Body scrubs can help exfoliate your skin so that it will reveal healthy looking skin. In this case, you will need to mix 3 tablespoons of baking soda with 3 tablespoons of water, and a tablespoon of milled oatmeal until you create a paste. Rub the paste on  your body in circular motion then wash afterwards with warm water. You will find that your skin will be soft and smooth to the touch.

These are just a few examples of what baking soda can do for you with regards to beauty. There are still more to try out but these ones are good enough to get that beautiful skin you’ve always wanted. For sure, once you see the results, you will be using baking soda more and more for your beauty routine.
