Pumpkin. One of the reasons why gas builds up in your stomach is because of poor digestion. Foods that are high in fiber may also be the cause of flatulence because they are not that easy to digest. When this happens, the bacteria that breaks down fiber produces by-products that create gas in our stomach causing bloat. Eating pumpkin, on the other hand, reduces this problem significantly.

Cinnamon. Cinnamon is also another effective remedy against gas and bloat as it soothes the stomach to minimize gas build up. You only need to add one half teaspoon of cinnamon powder to a cup of warm milk. Stir the contents to blend the ingredients properly and drink afterwards. You can add some honey if you like. You can also have some cinnamon tea to alleviate bloating and gas if you like.

These are just a few examples of home remedies that can reduce your digestive problem. The best part is that you can always whip these remedies up any time without worrying about chemicals and the like.
