Day 1: Any kind of fruit, except for bananas.
Day 2: Leafy greens (not the starchy ones) but no fruits
Day 3: Fruits and veggies
Day 4: Milk (skimmed) plus banana
Day 5: Baked chicken (without the skin) or beef plus tomatoes
Day 6: Beef plus veggies
Day 7: Unsweetened fruit juice, brown rice plus vegetables
There are different recipes for the cabbage soup. The Spanish cabbage soup is worth a try; recipe is as follows:
Ingredients:
Olive oil (3 tbsp)
Thick cut bacon (4 slices; cut into lardoons)
Onion (1 pc large; peeled and diced)
Green cabbage ( 1 small head; chopped)
Boiling water (9 cups)
White rice (4 tbsp)
Meat extract or Maggi seasoning (1/2 tsp)
Salt to taste
Preparations:
Procure a large soup pot and heat the oil over medium flame. Add the onions and bacon, stirring occasionally until the onion becomes brown in color. Add the cabbage and continue stirring for 15 minutes. Pour the boiling water in and let simmer for 10 minutes. Add your rice and cook for yet another 30 minutes. Stir in the meat extract or the Maggi seasoning and some salt according to your taste.
