It’s true that we need to take care of our skin all the time, but by the time you hit your 30s, you will need to do more for your skin. At this point, you will need to prevent signs of aging from appearing hence the need to put more emphasis on nurturing, nourishing, and moisturizing your skin. The good news is that there are ways which can help you preserve your young looking skin at this stage without going through surgery or injections. Here are a few tips to try out.

Determine skin type

Before you start with any skin care regimen, you should know what type of skin you have. Do you have oily, dry, normal, sensitive, or combination skin? You can consult with your dermatologist at this point so you will have a much better idea on what routine to follow.

Add more antioxidants

When looking for skin care products, make sure that you add more antioxidants to your skin as much as possible. Antioxidants can provide protection to your skin against cell damage caused by free radicals so there will be less wrinkles, lines, and other signs of aging.

Opt for gentle products

No matter what your skin type is, make sure that you go for gentle products as much as possible. Gentle cleansers and toners will not dry your skin up because they won’t remove the natural oils on your skin.

Consider oils. By the time we hit our 30s, our skin will start losing hydration, softness, as well as springiness which can lead to dull and dry skin that is prone to signs of premature aging. With that being said, giving your skin additional oils can be a huge help because they can rejuvenate your skin due to the fatty acids present.

Apply sunscreen

It doesn’t matter what season it is in your place, wearing sunscreen all the time is highly recommended. This can minimize the damage that our skin is being exposed to every time you step outside your home. Even when the weather is dark and gloomy, you still need to apply sunscreen to keep lines, and wrinkles at bay.

Skip the sugar

Another skin care regimen that you shouldn’t forget when you are in your 30s is to skip sugar as much as possible. At this stage of your life,  you should focus more on eating more greens because they are high in antioxidants that can protect your skin. Sugar laden foods, on the other hand, can make your skin condition worse and can even lead to constant acne breakouts. If you want to protect your skin against signs of aging, look for healthier snacks instead.

Adjust your skincare regimen accordingly

It is important that you keep your skin care regimen flexible based on the seasons. You can’t use the same natural products from summer during winter because your skin will have different needs at this point. Adjust your skin care routine to keep your skin well-nourished and moisturized.

Use fruit peels

Our skin can become dull by the time we hit our 30s but this doesn’t mean that it will remain like that all the time. The best way to revive and rejuvenate your skin is by using fruit peels that can help peel off the outer layer of the skin to reveal new and healthy skin underneath. You will find that doing fruit peels from time to time can help make your skin look brighter and healthier.
