Drink Enough Water

As mentioned before, one of the reasons for vomiting is dehydration. Drinking water is the simplest way of dealing with the problem as it helps restore fluid balance within. Drinking water also helps flush out toxic substances in the body, the accumulation of which also tends to cause vomiting so that they may be eliminated.

Have a Glass of Water with Salt and Sugar

Maintaining proper electrolyte balance is essential most especially during cases of severe dehydration, such as when you have diarrhea. Instead of reaching for a bottle of sports drink, simply dissolve a pinch of salt and sugar in a glass of water. Drink this to restore electrolyte imbalance and bring both dehydration and vomiting to an end.

Take a Cup of Ginger Tea

Ginger is known as an excellent home remedy for a wide variety of minor problems concerning the digestive system, from nausea to acid reflux. Having a cup of ginger tea is also an effective way to put an end to vomiting. Come up with this remedy by crushing a 1″ x 1″ piece of raw ginger and letting it steep in a cup of hot water. Consume Clove Tea

Reach for Some Plain Crackers

One of the simplest ways to deal with vomiting at home is by grabbing some plain crackers. This is especially effective for a pregnant woman who is bugged by morning sickness. Snacking on plain crackers also supplies your body with energy that you need to recover from the underlying cause of vomiting.
