-Separate the romaine lettuce leaves and wash thoroughly under running water. 

-Chop of the stems and then tear the leaves into chip-sized pieces.

-Grab a medium-sized mixing bowl. Place the lettuce leaves in it. 

-Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, and then season with black pepper and sea salt. 

-Reach for a large baking tray and line it with parchment paper. 

-Neatly arrange the lettuce leaves on it. Make sure to arrange them in a single layer only. 

-Bake for 10 to 20 minutes. 

-Take the baking tray out of the oven once the lettuce leaves are crisp.
