Ingredients:

4 to 5 pieces of large aloe vera leaves 

1 cup of distilled water

Directions:

-Carefully wash aloe vera leaves under running water.

-Using a small knife, slice off the tips of the aloe vera leaves. Also slice off their spiky sides. 

-Carefully, peel off the top layer of the aloe vera leaves. 

-Use a spoon to scoop out the gel found within each aloe vera leaf. 

-Place every spoonful of aloe vera gel in a small mixing bowl. 

-In a blender, combine aloe vera gel and distilled water. 

-Blend until you no longer see aloe vera gel bits. 

-Using a spoon, remove the froth on the top of the mixture and discard. 

-Carefully, pour the mixture into an ice cube tray. 

-Stash the ice cube tray in the freezer.

Once completely frozen, you may start using your homemade aloe vera cubes! The gel from which they are made from already has numerous skin benefits, and the coolness of the ice cubes bring some added perks.
