Frozen shoulder is a condition in which the shoulder experiences stiffness and pain. This inhibits the person to move their shoulders freely. Frozen shoulder can be caused by autoimmune functioning, dehydration and shoulder injury.

People that have suffered or is suffering from diabetes, lung problems, heart problems and stroke are likely to get frozen shoulder. It affects people who are commonly between the ages of forty to sixty years old.

The Three Stages of Frozen Shoulder:
• Painful stage – A jolt of pain experienced in the shoulder
• Frozen stage – the inability to move the shoulder
• Thawing stage – the last stage of frozen shoulder.

There are many ways to relieve yourself from frozen shoulder. Here are some natural remedies you can try at home:

 Go to an acupuncturist. Acupuncture can relieve pain.

 Do some much needed stretching exercise.

 Use heat packs as a quick go-to remedy. Place the heat pack on for 15 minutes for three to six times a day.

 Soak black sesame seed in water and allow it to steep overnight. Drink this as a natural pain relief medication.

 Create a natural pain relieving oil. Heat some mustard oil in a pan with some crushed garlic cloves. When the garlic turns brown, wait for the oil to cool down. Use it as a massage oil for your shoulder.

 Do arm stretches to help increase the range of motion in your arms. Yoga can help increase the motion in your shoulders.

 Eat healthy, opt for fresh and unprocessed foods. Eat a lot of hot soups, vegetables, spices and herbs that can remove inflammation. Avoid eating foods that are high in sodium and fat.

 Avoid eating fried and fatty foods. Eating spicy and pungent food can also trigger frozen shoulder.

 Consume healthy oils in your diet, this helps in lubricating the shoulder joints.

 Drink plenty of water. Dehydration or lack of liquid can cause frozen shoulder.
These are some simple tips and tricks you can try at home. Relieve yourself from frozen shoulder with some of these tips, but remember to take it easy and avoid putting stress on your shoulders.
