Pomegranate

One of the biggest symptoms of diarrhea is loose motion. Pomegranate can help reduce loose motion and frequent trips to the bathroom. You can consume pomegranate see twice a day, one fruit each consumption. If you prefer, you can hit two birds with one stone by consuming it as a juice three times a day to help with dehydration and loose motion. Though, drinking a few glasses of water can really help reduce chances of dehydration.

Lemon Water

Lemon juice with water is one of the healthiest drink you can consume for every day due to its numerous health benefits, but did you know it can also help with diarrhea. Lemon juice can help remove toxins from your body by flushing it out. This can help improve healing time and reduce loose motion. Take at least three glasses of lemon juice with water and add a pinch of salt. If you cannot take the taste of lemon juice, you can add a bit of honey.

Do Not Consume Dairy

Do not consume any thing that may have diary, from milk, processed cheese (pizza, cheeseburgers and so on), coffee that has dairy in it and so on. Consuming these foods will only make things harder. Your body is not able to digest dairy, causing you to have more loose motions. So, avoid anything that has dairy – even ones that have little amount.

Electrolyte Drinks or Powder

These types of drinks can help relieve the dizziness, relieve dehydration and reduce stomach cramps caused by frequent loose motions. Consume at least three glasses of these drinks. A great alternative to this is coconut water.

Probiotics

These are over the counter natural supplements that can help increase good bacteria in the intestine. These good bacteria can help fight off the bad bacteria that are causing your diarrhea.
