The feet help people in many ways. They allows them in standing up and moving from one place to another, such as walking or running. Soothing Peppermint Foot Scrub

The dead skin on the feet can be exfoliated with the foot scrub and the peppermint component of this recipe adds a sense of coolness to the feet. According to Mother Nature Network, the ingredients for this recipe include few drops of peppermint essential oil, a cup of granulated sugar, and either olive or coconut oil.

To prepare, the cup of granulated sugar is poured into a mixing bowl. Then, olive or coconut oil is added and mixed together until the consistency becomes wet and grainy. Once done, the few drops of peppermint essential oil are added. The scrub is then transferred to a bottle and it can be used during shower or bath to exfoliate, soothe, and moisturize sore feet.

Sugar and Lemon Foot Scrub

Along with peppermint, sugar and lemon also have the power to revitalize sore feet. The ingredients include half to a cup of granulated sugar, one-fourth cup of almond or coconut oil, and three to four drops of lemon essential oil.

To prepare, the ingredients are combined in a mixing bowl until the consistency becomes smooth and wet. Then, few drops of lemon essential oil are added to the mixture. Once done, the resulting scrub mixture is rubbed onto the feet for five minutes before rinsing it off with water.

Coconut and Sea Salt Foot Scrub

Aside from peppermint, sugar, and lemon, coconut and sea salt form another pair as a foot scrub. According to Natural Beauty Tips, the ingredients include coconut oil, sea salt, and three to four drops of essential oil for a sweet aroma.

To prepare, the seas salt and coconut oil, in 2:1 ratio, are mixed. A case in point is mixing a cup of salt with half cup of coconut oil. Then, three to four drops of essential oil are added. The resulting mixture is transferred into an air tight jar for storage.

Brown Sugar, Olive Oil, Baking Soda

The feet can also be scrubbed using a mixture containing the triad of brown sugar, olive oil, and baking soda, according to A and B Stories. As per the publication, the ingredients include a tablespoon of each component.

To prepare, the ingredients are simply combined and the resulting mixture is used to scrub the feet. In fact, the scrub can also be applied to the elbows, knees, and other rough areas. Finally, the skin is rinsed off well. The publication added that an acrylic foot file can also be used on the heels before stepping in to the shower for best results. After shower or bath, the feet is dried and foot lotion is applied for best results.

Listerine and Vinegar Foot Soak

When it comes to cracked and dry feet, listerine and vinegar serve as the best bet to leave the feet smooth and soft. The ingredients include a cup of listerine, a cup of vinegar, and two cups of warm water, as per Family Savvy.

To prepare, the ingredients are combined in a shallow aluminum pan that has adequate liquid to cover the feet completely. The feet are soaked in the resulting mixture for 20 minutes, adding warm water two times to prevent the water from getting cool. For added softness, half cup of salt soak crystals can be added.

Overall, prolonged standing and moving from one place to another leave the feet tired and sore. Along with the aforementioned spa recipes, the feet also gain comfort through massage and adequate rest.
